I've had some initial trouble with the new DeviantART uploader, it seems that I can now submit photos again though. As a result of the changes I have decided to make some of my older pieces available for download for the low cost of a few points, I will be adding this ability to my new pieces as I upload them from now on also. Thank you for supporting my page, I hope to take many more photos in the future- please critique anything you like so that I can see what people like and what people don't. John.

Hello there, Just a quick update- for Christmas I have been given my Father's D90 with a 18-105mm VR lens. I have been out to Conwy Castle and around Manchester a little bit so far and I'm really liking the level of control available on the body. Some photos from these two trips will be up soon and many more to come later I'm sure! Bigger sensor means I should hopefully be able to get some better images out of it, better photos in the gallery and better prints too!

Hello all, Thank you for looking at my DeviantART page. I was contemplating removing some of my photos from the gallery as it's getting rather crowded in there but then I read an article about how keeping the old photographs is nice because it shows people where you've come from to get where you are. So I'm keeping my photos for all to look at. I've been very busy with University this year- my final year- and as such I've not been able to get out and photograph things too often. I've put up some photos from a walk I took, I took some bracketed photos and made HDR shots out of them using Luminance HDR which I think look rather nice. Luminance
